Hpv. gential warts

is it safe to have my gf pregnant, knowing that i have genital warts before? is there any way to know if i'm cleared from hpv?

If you have not had visible warts for over 6 months, the doctors on the Doctor's Forum believe that you are no longer infectious. They also believe that one day you could be infectious but they have no idea when this one day would be. So yes, you can impregnate your GF. Once pregnant, you may want to avoid unsafe sex with her to be sure she isn't infected while pregnant. However, do understand that condoms don't offer much protection and it is possible she already has what you have. The only way to tell is for her to get tested now.

No test for men exists.  If its been years since you had warts, you are probably not infectious.
