how did i get it

hello all. around the start of june or so i found a pimple looking thing next to the head of my penis on the right side. Its some what round flesh colored and does not hurt itch or anything. At times its hard to see but when i am hard it looks like there is some kinda yellow or white stuff inside. i attempted to pop it with a tazer and twezers and a little blood came out but nothing else which got me scared. its been 2 months and its still there. was thinking herpes but does not look much like it which leaves genital warts. After reading about GW i believe it could be it. My question is i have been married for 4.5 years and have never cheated and same for her. how can i get this? Any help would be nice. is it possible to have it and not spread it for this long? Not sure how to handle this.

If you or your wife were not virgins before marriage, then it is possible that the sexual encounters then caused this GW to appear.  Its more rare for an old encounter to do this but not impossible. The most common cause is a recent (2-8 months) encounter for you or for her.  If it is a GW, then you have infected her or if she was the cause then she infected you. With an active wart present, it is nearly impossible not to infect someone. Go see a dermatologist asap. If visual inspection indicates it might be a GW, it will be removed and biopsied to confirm what it is or isn't. Read up on this virus here:
