incorrectly diagnosed??? help...

Before being sexually active I received a 3 shot series vaccination for HPV (unknown of the exact name) at about 13 or 14. I am now 22 and have been diagnosed with having HPV. The strain is the same strain the vaccination was suppose to prevent.Could this be a mistake? Did the vaccination not work?  Should I see a second opinion? Had anyone experienced this before? Please help!!!! Thanks in advanced!

Thank you so much because myobgyn nurse acted surprised when I asked how could that be possible when i had the vaccination. Told me to request the records as if I didn't know what I was talking about.
