hpv scar

I had HPV on my anus. I had a couple warts on the patch of skin between my anus and my testicles. I picked at them and there is slight scarring. Also recently i developed a pimple on my penis from new underwear that rubbed me the wrong way. I also picked at that and have a scar on my penis. They are both pretty recent so I'm not sure how much they will go away, but the one on my penis looks like a little pock mark. I'm a gay male who is self conscious about the scarring in both of these areas and I was wondering if there is anything to about it. I would mind laser surgery or a type of microdermabrasion, but it's not something I can do at home and it seems kind of awkward to ask a dermatologist about this. Are there doctors who specialize in this kind of thing. Has anyone else dealt with this or know of any solutions.

I guess a way to go is to ask the doctor what the mark is, when he says a scar, ask if you can remove it. You could tell him that you don't want future partners to mistake the scar for an STD.

There seems to be solutions to any cosmetic issue, but I would recommend discussing treatment with a doctor or dermatologist. The risk of further probelems from home treatment is too great!

I pointed out a mark on my penis that the doctor identified as a small scar. He indicated that it could be removed, but did not recommend  a cosmetic procedure. I was mostly concerned with HPV and didn't follow up.
