Low percentage risk of penile or anal or oral cancer but its not anything to worry about because the odds are very tiny.

I know that , I just meant I only had hsv 1 on genital and herpes symptoms but never had any warts , on the other hand doctor says hpv is responsible for dysplasia my wife had

I stil think hsv is responsible for this dysplasia and we don't have hpv , research shows hsv can also cause this abnormal cells
if it is because of hpv why we never got any wart and what risks do I have if I have hpv? Thanks.

Actually there is 100 or more types of hpv and 40 types cause genital warts. The hpv virus never leaves your body once infected you will always carry the virus but you can make hpv go dormant in your system with a excellent immune system. When hpv goes dormant it may not even show up on your pap . Hsv 1 also known as herpes simplex 1 normally will not cause genital herpes. Hpv and Hsv are nothing alike you cant even compare them. Hpv causes genital warts and hsv causes genital herpes. Genital herpes are not warts technically becaus genital herpes burst open and release puss /fluid and that is not a characteristic of warts. warts are abnormal skin growth they do not burst or release any type of fluid.

There are like 16 types of hpv.  A lot of them clear themselves out after a year.  Others, your wife's doctor will detect them during her yearly exam.
