hpv

I was just told by an ex that she has HPV. What does this mean for the male and if I do have HPV, are there treatments and what do I have to do if I have sex with another partner? Do I tell them and must I always wear a condom when having sex from now on? And, if a future partner already has HPV and so do i, do I need to take any precautions further regarding the virus, or will it NOT have any further affect on either partner if we both have HPV. Thank you, and I appreciate your help.

i would suggest you to read through the posts on this forum to get answers to most of your questions... please go through the information on the link below:

For men, hpv is nothing more than a cosmetic concern if there are present warts caused by the low risk strain of the virus... the high risk strains usually do not have any symptoms in men and are not of much concern... there are over 100 strains of the virus and you can never be sure if the other person is having the same strain or you both are going to share a new strain so it is good to tell your future partners... condoms do not provide a 100% protection and not more than 70%... if your girl friend came to know about this through pap smear then she actually is having the high risk stain (cancer causing) and you are most likely infected too...
