Receiving oral sex

Hi,
30 days ago i received oral sex from a prostitute so now i'm very scared about the risk of STD.
On hiv forum they tell me that itìs impossible to contract hiv in this way. The same answer was gived to me by the HEP C forum. For hep b i have the vaccine. So, what's the risk for HPV? how can i test? there always be symptom?

The doctors are giving practical information based on their 30+ years of experience in sexual health.

While it might be possible for HPV to be transmitted through oral sex, and it probably happens sometimes, it is not seen as much of a risk.

No cure because its a virus. Only treatments for the symptoms. Your immune system usualy gets rid of the virus itself in up to 2 years.

There is no need for worry since it is very unlikely you got HPV in this way. Since you have no warts then there is nothing you can do. Low risk causes warts which don't cause any other seriouse health concerns. High risk is more seriouse in women.

If the prostitute had warts in her mouth or high risk hpv in her mouth and gave you oral sex you could have hpv in your genitals.

I'd like to point out oral hpv is very rare, it is so rare not a lot is known about it so the chances of the woman having warts in her mouth or having high risk hpv in her mouth are slim to none.

You cannot test for low risk hpv (genital warts) unless there are warts present. There is no test for high risk hpv in men either.

You should only be concerned if you notice warts in your genitals.
