In 2006 i found out I had hpv i went to the dr. was prescribed podofolox, miserably painful by the way and i was completely ignorant on an std. Few weeks later they came back treated off and on for 3-4 months before realizing i needed something more, I had surgery and had what was left of the warts cauterized nasty scaring, since then i have shown no signs of any warts is it possible that i no longer have the hpv virus? during the time i found out i was back with my exwife she gets checkups on regular basis show no signs of hpv. the next question is we have not had sex in over a year i am miserable but faithful , her hormone levels are zero, she has multiple periods during the month and when we did have sex it always hurt her. She works for a general dr as Nurse they have been checking her blood trying to figure out what is wrong she tries to set up appointments to see her female parts dr they tell her that she needs to see a general dr there is nothing wrong how do we find out what is wrong to get her back to normal.

Your HPV infection has probably cleared. The vast majority last for less than 2 years, even without treatment.

Well even if they dont find the virus now it doesnt mean she doesnt have hpv it sort of like herpes there not the same disease but if she has had a episode then they probably wont find it until she does. As for the other symptoms hpv does cause pain during sex and times but that goes away.   I really think the other symptoms stem from something else multiple periods could mean a hormonal imbalance.
Try to relax also it could be stress, it can be the cause of many problems.
