Oral HPV can be gotten from oral sex.
https://www.cdc.gov/cancer/hpv/basic_info/hpv_oropharyngeal.htm
Studies have found that about 7% of people in the United States have oral HPV, but only 1% of people have the type of oral HPV that is found in oropharyngeal cancers (HPV type 16). Oral HPV is about three times more common in men than in women.
There is no FDA approved test to tell if you have it except a biopsy of an oral wart. Oral sex is not safe and never was safe.
So if a guy has HPV and I give him head am i going to get oral HPV ?
I do have oral HPV so it's not unheard of. My Dr. removes (from his patients) an oral papilloma about once per month. It's unknown how I got it but stress made it rear it's ugly head. It was removed and I am allowed to resume oral. During treatment he suggested it might be best to refrain while I was having an outbreak but other than that, don't worry.
My wife shows no sign on HPV.
Please stay calm.
Read what I wrote, it is so so so rare that even Drs tell you not to worry about it. Your daughter will not get HPV from touching tongues or from getting a kiss. It is only transmitted through oral sex.
And please trust me when I say it's rare
im going crazy cause when i was playing with my little girl accidentley her tong touch my tong so im so so so scare to death if i can pass the virus into her toung im thinking in the future if some thing will happend im planing to give her the hpv vaccine when she graw up i really i cant sleep or think plus her dad he kiss her many time in her mouth im so scare now .plz i need help from people like me
It is possible but it's so rare its not worth fretting over.
Drs have to say you cannot get it in your mouth because if they do it will cause people to panic when really, there have been so little cases of oral HPV it is not worth causing that panic
