anal warts inside

I recently noticed that something is sticking out just along outside of my *** and for a time I ignored it. Prior to that I noticed that theres something inside my anus, just near the outside rim. I got to feel this whenever i wash my *** after pooping. It made me curious and ask "what is it" for a time till this month, by surfing the internet and gave me a little answer that it is an anal wart. I decided to go to STI clinic and the nurse told me that it is wart, I am now scheduled to see the doctor to make sure whats inside my anus which is similar to wart as the nurse told. Im a little bit scared of these things about the wart, HPV as they call it medically. Eventhough cancer that link to it, and is only female can have it, but it doesnt make convince about the anal cancer which farrah fawsett had and died of...
I hope this things will get an answer soon. I hope its only a simple wart.

Is there anyone here got to have an anal wart as i do??...  what procedure/treatment did you had???
Hows the recovery and how are you now???... Please let me know your story or please any doctor who read this.

Thank you!

Doctors do not post on the community forum. There is an expert STI forum, but it costs money to post there. Many questions have been asked several times, so most posters can save money by searching through previous posts.

The bad news is that anal cancer is not limited to women.

The good news if that it is less common than cervical cancer.

And the really good news is strains of HPV that cause warts are not the same as those the ones that can lead to cancer.
