You had a embollisation? the uterine lining normally sheds each month with the period. If you uterine lining was excessivly thick it could have been scrapped, or burned to thin it, its not techically completley removed, and it will thicken back up.

You have had a urinary tract infection for how long? those can be dangerous if eft untreated. As above poster said..antibiotics seem to often lead to yeast infections; one good hint,.eat yougert atleast 2 servings per day while on the medicine..yougert contains a healthy bacteria that helps the intestines and helps counter act thrush or yeast infections...there is a over the counter medicine calld Monistat Deruma that is used for the vaginal infections. Ask dr before using.

Hi there
I am very concerned about the cleaning lady at our office.
She says she has not had her  period for the past 10 yrs, she gets this crippling pain in her womb where it burns severly and she gets cramps. She has seen a doctor and he says he cannot really help her. He has taken scans, made checks on her and can only give her tablets to stop the pain and the burning.
She is a cleaner and cannot afford real expensive medication and I am not sure if this doctor is a gynae or what.
I am not sure what I could do, she is in pain.

Your help would be great.
Thanks

Sounds like you need to see a good ob/gyn. You are fighting a double edge sword. You need the antibiotics but they are giving you a yeast infection. I have struggled with that myself and I finally went to a Womens Clinic and they knew just what to do to stop that crazy cycle. Also if you are still having pain, somethings wrong. Can I ask why you had the lining removed and not a hysterectomy?
