PAINS A YEAR AND MONTHS LATER

HI! I am 29 years old i had a partial hyst on October 30, 2009---for extreme bleeding over the years.  It was to the point where i had lost so much blood, I had to get a blood transfusion a month or so before my surgery. I found this website in hopes of finding some answers. For the past four to five months I have been experiencing menstrual cramps---breasts were so sore for about a week (as if they were full of milk).  I cant properly sit anywhere because my bottom feels so uncomfortable and I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs when I lay down at night.  Im not at all a BIG fan on pain meds, but I recently had to call my Family Physician for some type of relief (pain meds).  My Family Physician has referred me back to the surgeon to see what needs to be done. Before getting the surgery--my aunt warned me that I should have the Full Hysterectomy done because I will experience pains later on.  My aunt started out with just a partial hysterectomy, but later had to go back.  She mentioned that her doctors thought she was crazy and tried to get her to seek mental health--because she kept telling them of these pains.  Eventually she was right--her ovaries were NO GOOD.  What I wanna know is.....if I have the ovaries removed--will it effect my sex drive and what else does it effect?  As I sit here and type now--my bottom is in so much pain and I am cramping!  I DO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT NEXT WEEK MARCH 22ND!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yw I have people ask that all the time! with out a uterus there is no possibility except the rare medical oddity where embryo attaches to an organ such as the stomach or intestines which is life threatening to the mother, the best best is surrogacy or adoption.

Hi I had a similar experience had uterus and cervix removed, already knew I had problem w cysts on ovaries and yes one year later back in for ovaries and tubes out. its common drs try to preserve ovaries as yes once gone you are thrown into a automatic menopause not gentley glided into it as nature intends, then you need to decide about bio identical hormone replacement.
some women loose or have decreased sex drive some have no problem, if you do loose sex drive there are a few new medications for that, similar to viagra for a man , only intended to increase womans libido.

tinkerbell no she cannot get pregnant
