My Doc told me I am having uterine fibroid measures 2.5cm and i am 35 years old just too young to do hysterectomy. Will this fibroid grow larger or still remain in my uterus?

Do not get pushed into a hysterectomy,I was and I did not know you could have fibroids removed,I asked and was told there was no treatment for them,l I understand know is wrong so please dont just be told hysterectomy is the answer because its not and I am regretting it.Take care

leon is right there are a few methods to remove fibroids only sometimes can be shrunk firstw medication, I amcuriouswhy dr has not offered that. Do please remember times are hard economically and a surgeon makes a great deal of monies on a hyster not so much on removing a fibroid.

example I have a tiny little cyst on my hand they want to put me under general anestesia, I am like no way for a 1/2 the size of a pea cys in the web between 2 fingers give me a few shots numb it locally and remve it.

Its a sad day but many people are motivated by money .This I pray is not the case for you I do not know thiw, want you to know it could be,

You don’t have to have a hysterectomy to remove fibroids you can have a myomectomy which also preserves your uterus if you wish to have children in the future.

No one can really answer that as its a hypothetical question. In generanl ususally fibroids grow they are 99 % non cancerous, but can cause anatomical problems and pain,
