Hysterectomy (abdominal)

I had a hysterectomy April 29th, 2011 I'm finding urinating and bowels movements very uncomfortable is this normal?

Thank you for your comments and I have seen my gynecologist and we are watching it for now.  It is still uncomfortable but feels like it is getting better.

It's been about 2 weeks since your surgery so I would say no, this is not common. I would recommend getting in to see your Gynecologist to find out what's going on. Some women take longer to heal than others so that may the problem. But I really think it's best to see your Dr.
