That's what us women are here for - to support one another through the hard times, or whatever else is bothering you. I really hope the D&C works for you :-)
Lets hope that helps, and thats all you needed. Good luck.
Had the D&C today and was anxious and scared but everything went well. Still feel it should have been a hysterectomy and I could have avoided this step. Would hate to be back in a few months or next year for same problem. Thank you to everyone for your comments- they reaffirmed my own feelings. It's comforting to have other women support one another during these times.
I had a hysterectomy almost 3 months ago because of pain. My insurance covered the surgery and the pathology report said all I had was Adenomyosis. I was worried too about cancer before the hysterectomy and this is why I had the surgery because of constant worry and monthly pain. If you have a family history of Uterine cancer then I would consider surgery. You need to see another doctor, like Madge suggested, especially if he/she isn't listening to you.
Let us know ok?
People have that done for those symptoms I am certain.....maybe you need a new doctor.
That was my opinion, too, but doctor told me that at this point, insurance would consider hysterectomy as "elective" surgery and would not cover it. I am currently considering paying for it out of pocket. I hate being put in this situation.
If it were me I would have hysterectomy and get rid of the chance all together.
