Td or Tdap Booster

I have to get a Td or Tdap booster for college. However, when I was a baby, I had heart trouble (my heart stopped) and epileptic seizures. The doctors were not sure exactly what caused the seizures. I am now 23 years old and have not had a seizure since I was 3 days old. Is it safe for me to receive the Tdap vaccine?

When you were a baby and had heart trouble and seizures, did they occur after getting a vaccination?  If not, most likely there is no connection between getting vaccinated and having heart trouble/seizures....especially since you haven't had any problems since.   Surely you have had several DTaP/Td vaccinations since you were a baby and if you didn't experience any problems, you shouldn't have any problem getting a booster.  A meningitis vaccination is also a good idea if you're going to college.

Don't take the chance. Check the interest for side effects. I think seizures is one of them, but check. If you get a puncture wound, get a tetanus shot.
