A forum for diseases which do not respond to FDA approved treatments

I was wondering if there could be a forum for people who have a chronic disease which does not respond to any of the FDA approved treatments that are available through their physicians.  I don't know how you'd really title it, but say someone has asthma that doesn't respond to any of the approved treatments, or say they have something like Lupus, or non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, or Crohn's, or Hep-C, etc., etc., and that their disease has not responded to anything that has been tried by their doctor-which has been FDA approved.  These people need to feel like somebody is there to support them in their struggle to cope with their disease.  Just a thought...., I understand if it's not possible to have such a group.  Susan400

I would like to find a forum for people whose drs have prescribed treatments that are NOT FDA approved. I have been prescribed a med that is approved for some cancers, but not the application for which I am using it. Because its not approved for this application, there is not much information out there about clinical trials, and their results. But somewhere out there, there is a study that led my dr to try this treatment. I would like to see the results of that study. And talk to others that are going thru the same thing.
