Question on older Polls~~~

Do they time out in allowing people to vote?...I had a member pull up an older poll from '09 and another member asked y they could not vote......

Just wondering if this is a reason, that it is the age of the thread?

That would be a great idea and then maybe post the new link on the old post :)

Hi - with further clarification we have found out that the polls do eventually time out.  Users can't set the timing of the time out.  We're not certain of the their timing, however.

Hm - I went and looked, too, and couldn't find the time option.  I'll see what I can find out and will try to get you more information (again).  :)

I just went to check and there is nothing that I see that would allow me as a poster to set a time frame for the poll to time out after a given set of time.

Yes they do actually time out and it usually is for the time that the poster sets them at.  Hope this clarifies.

I am going to have someone check on this by the way so we will follow up when we have more information available.

Can you let us know the poll and we can check on it for you?  Some of them do have dates set on them on when they time out but the results will still show and the thread I believe remains active.
