Dreamlike State That Comes and Goes

Okay. So a few days ago, I was playing Titanfall and all of a sudden I started feeling really weird. My senses felt sort of distorted. My hearing was kind of muffled, so everything sounded really quiet, yet at the same time my ears were sensitive, if that makes any sense. I had a feeling sort of as though I was retreating into my own head. I continued to play, and I had a sudden very strong feeling that something was wrong. I kept saying in my head over and over, "something is wrong, something isn't right." Yet at the same time I could HEAR my own calm voice talking in my head about the video game. No I don't talk to myself, I just mean like the way you talk about what you're doing when you're playing a video game if you play them you know what I'm talking about xD. Anyway, this was really weird to hear my own voice in my head, and I wasn't even thinking about saying what I was hearing. I took of my headset and went into the kitchen, thinking maybe I was dehydrated. Water didn't help. The feeling was similar to dreaming, and I felt like my sense of reality was altered. My mom came and started talking to me about something totally irrelevant. It was as though she was speaking another language, and I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying yet somehow I was subconsciously carrying on a conversation with her without even thinking about it or knowing what I was saying. I went to bed and lay there for a few minutes in the dark, and the feeling went away. Once it did I felt a warm sensation in the right side of my head similar to when you hang upside down, and you can feel the blood rush. In the days since, I have had a similar feeling several times but nothing so severe, I only felt dizzy in the more recent cases, with a weird feeling of altered reality, but with none of the not understanding people, or hearing my own voice. My doctor said I had something which sounded made up called "Out of Body Experience Disorder." My doctor is senile, didn't do much to find out what was wrong, and was more concerned about my acne. I have never had alcohol or drugs, and I have no history of instances such as this. Anybody have any clue whats wrong with me?

I agree it sounds like a seizure of some kind.

I had a full on seizure several years ago due to drinking a gallon of water in about 15 minutes and got water intoxication.

It began the way you describe your symptoms,  but then I had the actual thing that appeared like a seizure.

Can you do an MRI?

An occasional depersonization phenomena, can occur in normal people, however recurrence may need further evaluation to rule out temporal lobe seizures.
