Thanks for all the great information. We'd be happy to add Dostinex to the Ovulation Tracker. We'll add it in our next round of updates and let you know when it's available.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I understand that the personal fields would be difficult to track. If you could add the ovulation pains on left and right ovary that would be extremely helpful to detect which side will ovulate. In answer to the question about Dostinex, it is a medication otherwise called Cabergoline as its generic name (Dostinex is the brand name). It is a medication used to treat hyperprolactenemia - which is when you have excessive prolactin hormone in your body usually a result of a pituitary adenoma (Tumour). I have this small tumour, and the treatment is Dostinex. It is specific to ovulation in that it regulates the hormones so that you can ovulate. Without this drug, normally one suffering from this problem cannot ovulate. It is a pretty successful drug in treating pituitary tumours. Also, I was able to conceive my first son in 8 weeks of taking it. I really need the ability to place this into the ovulation tracker, so that (1) I remember to take it (it is usually a weekly drug only), and so I know how many weeks I had to take it to get pregnant. I hope you can add it. Many people have hyperprolactenemia and do not know this is why they are not ovulating. They suspect it to be from something else, but if their blood work shows elevated prolactin and they are not breast feeding, chances are they have this problem. Clomid therapy usually doesn't work for people who have prolactenemia. So, if there are some women out there using Clomid and not getting pregnant, or ovulating, this maybe something to look into. A simple blood test and then correlating Ultrasound or MRI will tell.
Hope that is sufficient information for you to add the Drug. A medication tracker wouldn't help me in this regard, since I only take it to get pregnant, and stop the therapy once I am pregnant. (My tumour is small and doesn't need large or ongoing dosing.)

Thanks for the suggestion. We do not allow users to add their own fields to the trackers as that would make it very difficult to correlate data. We're looking into ways to do this in the future. In the meantime, we'd be happy to add an indicator of Ovulation Pain for Left and Right. We'll let you know when that is available.
For Dostinex, can you tell us how it is related to ovulation? If it's not, the best place for this would be a Medications Tracker (which we plan to launch at some point in the future), where people can track all their different medications.
Thanks,
