Mood tracker suggestion

First things first--nice job on the mood tracker in its current form. It's pretty robust, and I like that there's always new stuff being surreptitiously added to it.

Could the symptoms of the menstrual tracker be added to the mood tracker? I appreciate that symptoms that appear on both trackers are automatically updated/cross-referenced, but not all symptoms are on both trackers.

Symptoms I'd REALLY like to see on the mood tracker:
* hopelessness
* binge eating

Symptoms I definitely wouldn't mind seeing on the mood tracker:
* acne
* bloating
* backache <--didn't know this was hormonal; I guess "back pain" is already on the mood tracker, but dull aches aren't the same as full-blown pain.
* dry skin
* insomnia

Not useful for me personally, but might be useful for someone else:
* cold sores
* confusion
* constipation/diarrhea
* weight change

Maybe everyone else has consistent PMS, but mine expresses itself differently every month, and I'm still trying to figure out exactly when/how my mood is affected by hormonal fluctuations as opposed to any other factors.

Sometimes, I experience something that I don't think IS a symptom... until I check the menstrual tracker at some point, and see my symptom listed, and say, "Oh! I didn't see it on the mood tracker, but maybe it's a sign of PMS. How 'bout that."

I might feel paranoid because the overcast weather affects my mood, or maybe I actually overheard someone talking about me, or maybe I really do have an undiagnosed mental disorder, or maybe I'm just stressed out by school... or maybe I'm PMSing. I don't know. I can't tell. And I don't want to keep an extra tracker just for that.

Just a thought.

Thank you for the suggestions! We'd be happy to add hopelessness and binge eating to the Mood Tracker. Seems like those two would be very useful to a lot of people.

In the future, you'll be able to overlay data from your various trackers to draw the exact kind of conclusions you're looking for. Until then, we'd really like to keep the Mood Tracker strictly about mood and the Menstrual Cycle Tracker about PMS, and therefore keep the values in each tracker most relevant to the group using them. We realize there are commonalities between the two trackers and you'll be able to determine what those are when we launch the reporting tool. Hang in there and we'll let you know when it's available.

Thanks,
