pigmented lesion on my nine year old

my daughter had a lesion removed from her ear in oct.the path report came back melanocytic tumor of uncertain malignant potential under comments it said this lesion has characteristics of what has been termed pigmented epithelioid melanocytoma such lesions have overlap with so called melanophagic/animal type-melanoma.because patients with carney complex develope similar lesions ,clinical concedration for this is also suggested.does she have melanoma or not?she went and had wider in-cesion done but they never did a slnb.and i think they should have.now could they do other test or will they make her wait until she has another tumor pop up few years done the road.when its more sever.
