Possible exposure!?!?!!? Help needed!!!!!!

Okay. Today, I was setting in a meeting and all of the sudden I felt something in my seat poke me in the butt. I immediately panicked and noticed that the chair (which had a hole in it), had what looked like two metal spring sticks that I assume poked me  I then began to think what if someone put in a injection needle into the seat (I work at a hospital)  it stung when it poked me and the stick last for some time. Should I go to the emergency room or tear the seat apart to ensure that there was no injection needle inside the chair. I'm freaking out. Someone could have placed a needke that was infected with HIV, Hepititis or some or blood borne disease

It is really not likely. If they had put a needle in there that had something in it you would have seen it. I'm sure you are fine.
