morgellons again

   I have no idea if you still come here but im giving this a try. I need help and advice Im scared to death. In 2009 I got Morgellons. I did all the things and tried alll the remedies to no avail. I was sucidal. In 2011 I was in better financial shape and decided to move. I took nothing with me. I went in there with the clothes on my back. I was in a position to buy all new furniture back then. Within 2 wks all my symptoms were gone. No fibers Nothing. I lived there for 4 yrs Morgellons free and never thought about it again. Then I had some financial problems I had to move to a smaller apt. 3 weeks ago I moved in a studio in a prewar bldg. Almost as soon as I got here I started getting bitten all over . The itching rashes and scratches all over me. I ws and am beside myself . I saw fibers everywhere. I never umpacked most of my stuff. I never ate here I 'shower ' in the sink. Ive been sleeping on my sofa because I was going to buy a twin bed. I became so frantice and terrified that I went to a therpist I didnt mention Morgellons but got some tranquilzers. They dont help much. Last week I called my sister who is wealhy in desperation. She doesn't believe Morgellons exists but she told me tht she would help me pay the rent if I want to move back to the old apt. Tomorrow I am suppossed to move but Im terrified tht I will be bringing it back there with me. I have no money to buy new furniture or a rug . I bought  an air mattress which I wasnt planning on using til I was back in the old apt. I dontt know if moving will matter. I dont know if I should bring my rug sofa etc with me. I wont mind living like a squatter for the rest of my life there ( in in my 60's) if im sure there wont be any Morgellons but the fibers are on the keyboard TV my coat and boots and purse. They are on the boxes that I havent unpacked Im sure they are all over the sofa chair and carpet of course. Can you give me any advice? Im terrified. No I think it is very real. If I remember correctly some of this is caused by I think a mite from people that sweep their leaves. When they go out and rake their leaves the mites get on them. When those people shower right away they can get rid of them. If they don't they get  in the house and all over the place. There are some good answers on the site that starts with aaaabugs. Is it one of the posts on this site.  Towards the end of the post there are quite a few people who have come up with solutions to helping with their own problem. I think I posted some links to this and other sites that may be of some help. It is hard to follow two strings or posts on this because so many people have it.

I feel I have this condition and my symptoms are on the verge of loony toons. I have not been able to sleep for 9 months since I got sick. Brutal tinnitus that never goes away. I have seen fibers everywhere. Large hexagonal glitter appears on my skin from time to time.

I have read so much on this and it does sound like a psychological condition called Ekbom Syndrome. My guess is that this condition is something that has been around for  very long time. With current technology many of us can now see it. Telling someone you have "infectious fibers" will make anyone you talk to think you are crazy. This condition causes symptoms in some that are minor skin condition and some that are very bizarre. Many people self report they remember a certain event that started the condition. I think the psychological effects are the result damage to the nervous system caused by some yet not understood infection or co infection. I doubt current science will not be able to address this syndrome as it seems clear the symptoms do not follow any kind of infection we has seen before. I think many psychological conditions are the result of damage caused to the CNS. Psychology will continue to push drugs to reduce the symptoms but the never can explain the cause.

So many conditions are not understood at all. ADHD autism, IBS,fibro, gout, ... the list goes on. Some of the symptoms have a lot of overlap. I wouldn't be surprised a 100 years from now that future doctors will look back on this era and wonder why couldn't our doctors not of connected the dots between them. Doesn't help any of that have this condition.
