Alpha wave intrusion

by caklaine00, Jun 30, 2009 10:30AM
I have had sleep problems for many years.  I have had 2 sleep studies over the last 3 years and they both  diagnosed me with sleep apneia, so therefore, I struggled with using a CPAP machinefor 3 years with absolutly no relief from my lack of quality sleep. And over this period of time, I would experience, anxiety attacks, no ablilty to think clearly, lack of interest in everything, I felt like I was sleep walking thru life.

I decided to have a third study done and received the the diagnosis of Alpha wave intrusion yesterday and the doctor prescribed one Trazadone at night before bed.

Is this a safe and effective drug for Alpha wave intrusion?

This is a question for your sleep doctor who performed your studies and knows your history and study results.
