restless leg syndrome

Just recently quit long-term medication (tramadol--50mg/8 times a day).  Having restless legs every night--cannot sleep.  I'm thinking it's from stopping the meds and this will get better.  Any thoughts?

tramadol detox causes restless legs and twitching, it will stop with time.  It takes about a month. I know it's annoying. I went through it too. That was a lot of tramadol, surprised the restless legs is all you got. If it bothers you a lot tell your doctor, but let him know you stopped the drug recently.
