CD 3 Low Estrodiol Levels at 34?

Hello.  I am a 34yo with a past history of hodgkins lymphoma(almost 10 years ago) and currently hypothyroidism for which i take 75mcg of Levothyroxine daily.  I was told by my oncologist that fertility would not be an issue.   My husband and I stopped contraception (condoms) over a year ago and I have never used anyother type of contraception my whole life.  We have been activey trying for about 5 months to no avail.  I bought OPKs before and never had a positive or smilie face response from them.  I bought a Fertility monitor and am getting a couple of peak days and a couple of high fertility days too.  My first menstrual cycle was at 12 and they have been very regular(28 days like clockwork) until recently.  They are ranging between every 25 to 31 days(but I still get them and the traditional PMS symptoms.  Out of concern for my age/fertility and the fact that I have not got PG and that my periods are a little wacky, I went to my gyn and she did the day 3 bloodwork.  These were the results:

ESTRADIOL 17 BETA SER <32  -  pg/mL
FSH 6.8  -  mIU/mL
LH 2.7  -  mIU/mL
PROLACTIN 17.6  -  ng/mL
TSH 2.73  -  mIU/L

through these results the Dr(gyn) said it looked like i was very close to menopause.  She said that my estrodiol levels were very low.  But the other bloodwork looked "good" or "promising"  I thought the FSH would be higher if I was close to menopause but maybe iam wrong.  She now wants to send me to a Fertility specialist and consult with him as she does not feel comfortable commenting any further on my results.  I guess I am thoroughly confused as I was only in to find out why my periods were "acting up"

She said she thought my TSH was normal but 3 onths earlier my TSH was 1.97.  Could it be my thyroid doing this or my age??  Is there something that could be done for low estrogen levels for women my age (pregnancy bearing)  Perhaps I should be seeing a endocrinologist.  I am so confused.  Thank you for all that you do

I am glad to say that your FSH, Estradiol, LH, Prolactin and TSH are all normal for cycle day 3. The Estradiol should be low on cycle day 3 and the FSH, just as you said. If they were high then you would have a problem. You are not close to menopause.
I do think you should see a specialist to help you get pregnant . They can do further work up on you as well as your husband.
But good news, you are not menopausal.

Many thanks for your response.  I thought it odd to be "very close" to menopause.
