My husband had several semen analyses that showed very low-normal numbers (23 million per ml; 2 ml; 46 million total; 45% motility, etc..) except morphology. By the Kruger method, his numbers were 3% and 5%. These were 75 days apart. He had varicocele surgery for grade 2 varicocele in January. His first post-op semen analysis showed no change. Morphology was 4% (again Kruger). He also has very low-level swollen prostate, though no treatment was recommended other than advil 3 times per day, which he's doing.
We've tried shots and IUI. My body and our debt level need a major break while we save for IVF, which we may never be able to afford. My fertility workup has been fine so far. (Hormone levels fine, tubes open, etc..) Are there any recommendations for acupuncture, herbal treatments (he's taking all the normally recommended vitamin/mineral/amino acid supplements), etc.. that we should be researching/trying? We're out of western medical options for now and possibly forever but aren't ready to give up.
Thanks!
