What are the best medications or supplements for cramping and gas?

Do you take the Beano each time you eat?  I find I'm having gas right before bed each night.  I've tried the Simethicone.  It doesn't seem to prevent it.

Ihave had ibs for yrs .I take spasmol and pepermint cordial. Dorothy.

for gas, i find beano, before i eat works wonders.
after i eat, over the counter simethicone helps
