Friends... scared here...Advice please. Prayers

I am pretty weak now, so making it short.

When i was in Er last week from severe spasms after eating fibre one... i know sounds funny but true. they gave me prolosec, pepsid ac, and dose of ativan. Went to docs next day he said to take ativan every six hrs as needed. I took it once 2 days after. (Mind you i have been on klonopin for 3 years.I didn't take the klonopin at this time. I had tried to take ativan one more time.since then. Both times made me very aggitated. Had doctors appointment today, he said stay on klonopin.. ok soooooo here is something new. I DID have BLOOD in my stool this am! they have done colonoscopy, upper and lower GI, I do ave berrets but not scheduled for another scope for 2 years. This stool was very obvious, i have eaten nothing RED.  Ok so next thing i noticed was all i had as a turkey sandwich, which i can usually tolerate., Then Wham totally nausiated and weak and had to get in tub. I don't know what to do. I am ready to go back to ER and tell em GET IT RIGHT!.

Can this blood be a reaction to Ativan? I would hardly think so. The stool was moucousy and loose but bound enough where it looked like an actual  stool with blood.

Confused, going to go relax.

Lagoya is correct about the bright red stool - the higher up the darker the color - the lower the brighter the color. Try not to worry, it could be just hemorrhoids. Also, something must have upset your stomach and colon. I know how you are feeling. I have gone through it several times before. I too panic when I see blood, but mostly what I see is bright red. I'll say a prayer for you :-)

are u sure u dont have colitis i am not sure what those meds are
if blood is seen in the stool as red bright red it is generally low down in the tract if it was more of a blackish colour it would be higher up so to speak
u have been to the docs a good few times now surely they can do something for u
dont worry easy said have a warm cup of tea i an sure it is nothing there are loads of reasons for blood in stools and they dont have to mean anything bad in case u are worried it might have been something u ate in the previous days
