See if you can find somewhere like this in your state.
Hi, FurballsMom,
Can you tell me where to find the IBS-C Control?
Go to http://www.swansonvitamins.com/
This is a reliable and safe place to get supplements that are also affordable. They have an excellent return policy if you should ever need to use it, even providing the return shipping with the return label they always provide with each shipment.
I agree with Furballsmom, except that I have trouble finding mag citrate. All the supplement places sell other forms instead of citrate, but doctors always say use mag citrate.
You can. If you're not sure where it is, just ask the pharmacist. It's usually found in an aisle nearest to the pharmacist counter and in the laxatives section. It's usually on the very top or the very bottom shelf.
I find, though, that for better IBS-C control, as well as better migraine control, it is far better to supplement with magnesium citrate everyday. This is not the same thing as the liquid medication you're talking about. About 1,000-1,500 mg daily in the morning, but don't forget to supplement an equal amount of calcium before you go to bed. As my neurologist explained to me, it is better to take the two supplements separately, because the way the body uses each supplement. The body system that uses the magnesium tends to deplete calcium and vice versa. Many take the minerals together, but this is not as effective for either IBS or migraine disorders.
