Off to Doctors this am, Time for med change?

I have been diagnosed with GAD, and IBS and last night i was totally agitated. :O(. kinda got bold with m son in military , however it was something he needed to hear. Dang youngins lol.

Docotro has me on Cymbalta and klonopin. Yeshh why am i getting aggitated? On it for 3 weeks now. I'm agitated and have to see him in 1 hr. yikers!

Could this also be due to possible constipation , something i ate....as we all know with IBS we have to watch what we eat.

What did he say you should do? I was old to try different fibers so now i am doing psyllium in the morning then 2 fibercon in the afternon to see how that goes, plus im gong to start with Fiber One cereal mid morning,also he gave me xanax, i am soo prtrified of those kind of drugs so i just made myself try it, i broke a o,5 into 4's and took one yesterday, of course it wasnt enuff to do anythign so then this morning i took 2 1/4's which is equal to a 1/2 of a 0.25, i did start to get dizzy and eyes wouldnt focus about 23 mns after taking it, not sure if that is normal, i hope not..but i went to the kitchen and cleaned cubboards and it got better, now almost 4 hours later i feel nothing and thats normal with xanax they dont last long but its ok, i am just experimenting with dosage at this point but i must say, i NEVER thought i would take them.., i have the issue of not "going" enuff so i get so much waste bulit up its awful and when i get nervous about any little thing all heck breaks loose and im going for 3 days this last time, si i was pretty sick and hard to have a life like this...Glad to hear it went well for you at the Dr..

Hi Wanda,

Yea he said give my med little more time. nother 2 weeks. I am on low dose...he actually said i did better on just an anxiety med. We are going to see. He really gave me an earful about IBS. I know what i need to do but it keeps flaring up grrr.

Good Luck Snoozies!! As you know Anxiety and Im sure being aggitated can mess up our whole system, Im guessing he will ask you to give them meds some more time, Every Dr is diff tho, as you've read, im the opppsite, if i get nervous im a mean pooping machine! I made it through my dr appt after 3 days of being highly nervous, not eating for 3 days and Im starting to get better, Im sure you will do fine once there, please report back!!
