too much pain

I have pain in my rib cage area both sides every day, whether I eat or not; but worse when I eat.  the pain is also in my back between my shoulder blades.  While I eat and immediately afterI eat, I can feel by abdomen swelling.  This is very uncomfortable.
Blood tests so far seem to be normal.
What could possibly be in need to checking with my doctor?

Gallbladder removal causes a lot of different complications(it takes unbearable pain away but it doesn't solve the problem)  , the specific diet must be followed for entire life. As i mentioned a lot of vegies and milk products must be eaten every day, the biggest function of gallbladder is digesting food when you remove it your liver and pancreatic becoming responsible for this function , a lot of strain will go on your colon and stomach too.
the best is to eat small amounts of food instead of big that will reduce pressure on liver and pancreatic therefore your right side pain will reduce. The left side pain or discomfort probably will be there for the rest of your life. Please contact your dietriotion for the right diet.My suggestion small foods every 2 hours each food accompanied by yogurt or glass of milk. No fat foods, no raw meat,no fried meat. Try to eat boiled meat as it is easy to digest, eat grapefruit everyday it's best fruit for digestion. No coffee, no soft drinks(like coca-cola),no fat food,no fast food , try to eat salad twice a day.

I have had my gall bladder removed two years ago, but the discomfort and pain is worse now than it ever was when I had my gall bladder.
Any other suggestions?

Hi there,
Check gallbladder, this can be caused by gallbladder/stones functioning in wrong manner.
I would suggest eat more vegetable and drink a lot of milk products this is something that digest easy and helps digestion in same way.
Ultrasound of abdomen should be enough to check for stones. There is more difficult procedure to check gallbladder functioning (although blood test will do to but not always as accurate)
