I guess a little background would be helpful, I had been having severe constipation, bloating and other symptoms a few years back and after tests they discovered I had ulcers lining my small intestines and was diagnosed with IBS since they had no clue where they came from. (Not sure if I agree I have IBS but not much I can do about it). All the remedies they suggested were useless, miralax and fiber substitues usually just made me extra gasey with little relief. More powerful laxatives seem to do the trick in extreme cases but the side effects are just downright unpleasent to deal with all the time. I came across the natural supplement Triphala in a medical forum for those with celiacs and a few people noted that it was extremely helpful with constipation help so I decided to give it a try. I have been using it for a few years, and it seems to be working fantastic. I can regulate the dosage to how I'm feeling and although it doesnt have overnight results its does seem to help with constipation without the umpleasent cramping side effects. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or has tried it, so far no medical professional has been able to speak to it I just want to make sure it does not have any long term side effects. I've had to take it more often the past few months being pregnant so I'm hoping it's safe.
