Thank you for the reply UB. That is the earliest he can do it, I will go in as an out patient. He said in the mean time it may pass, boy that would be nice. OK on the reason of leaving the stent in. Not worried about them taking it out. I am no macho man, but I have had numerous surgeries so pain for a minute or so I can deal with. Can't be than when I was in ER. I will take a few pain killers though before. As for peeing after I have used a pill called Pyridium, it help me the last time I was scoped out. I can only use it for a day or so because I am in stage 3 chronic KD.
How much of a chance is there that they don't need to use a stent, can it be possible he can see it, and can grab it without cutting the ureter, or if it is stuck that usually means ureter has to be cut or it would have come out on it's own by now, if so, I think I answered my own question as far as the cutting of the ureter and reason for a stent. The other two I passed were not bad, I could not understand why everyone said pass a K/S was like having a baby, well, now I know now. Oh yeah 69 is my age!
Thank you again for the reply I was looking for, you explained it perfectly.

garyseven,
I believe that the "69" behind your name means your age! Correct? Anywho, why is your doctor waiting until June 22 to go get that stone for you? I'd sure ask him why, if I were you. Be that as it may, don't worry about the stent. They will probably put in as stent until your ureter heals from the surgery your doctor will do getting that stone. They may have to cut your ureter slightly and the stent will allow it to heal up fine. When it heals up, you'll have another appointment after your ureter heals in which the nurse will then remove the stent. When you go in for that, my only advice is to take a deep breath and bare it! Afterwards urination may cause you some burning for a couple of days from the inside of your penis due to the stent removal but that too shall pass. Good Luck.
