Lymph Nodes

My question is my lymph nodes under my arm pits are both sore and tender to touch.  The right one is worse than left.  Is this connected to any disease.  I have had a biopsy on the right side, but hurt this way before the biopsy.

There are indeed diseases that can present with enlarged lymph nodes in both armpits, and these are the lymphomas.  However, we cannot discount the fact that these may be infection of some glands in the armpit area presenting with enlarged lymph nodes in both armpits.

I agree that the biopsy is the best way to have this resolved.  If lymphoma, then treatment would be chemotherapy and radiation therapy.  If this is just an infection, which I believe is more probable, then this can be treated with a course of antibiotics.
