Small Lump Under Chin

I'm fourteen, and just recently, I noticed a hardish lump underneath my chin (mostly in the middle, but slightly to the right); it's about pea-sized (maybe smaller). I'm very worried that it may be cancer, because I have heard so much of the disease. I have also been very stressed out lately, if that may have anything to do with it... Could it only be swollen lymph nodes or something? I'm freaking out at the moment!!! Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much. I guess I'll try not to worry too much then unless something changes...   :)

I'm not a doctor, but noticed you haven't recieved a response. My understanding is that lymph nodes can swell from any number of things. The fact that it's pea sized, and moves freely shouldn't be a cause for concern. If it grows, or things don't change and you're still concerned, go see your primary doctor.

And (I'm sorry I keep forgetting stuff) I can move it around freely, besides what it is attatched to underneathy, like the muscle or tissue or something... OKay, thats it! :(

Oh, and it is totally painless (unless I mess with it for extensive periods of time of course).
