Elevated Liver Tests

Doc, I am a healthy 34 YOA male, married police officer. I consider myself healthy and don't drink often or smoke. I went to my Doc recently and he did blood work do to my sweating at night (off and on). He stated two of my test were considered twice and 1.5 their limits. He told me that I am not diabetic (by tests) and subsequently had a hep panel drawn. Iam extremely worried that I contracted hep from a work related unsavory. He told me its not bad enough to possibly be Hep. On a different note, I had MRSA and had taken Rifampicin and Septra at the same time  for 2 weeks to kick that infection.During this same time I was military deployed and drank alcohol with those meds when it told me not to. Stupid I know! Could those antibiotics have caused my liver tests to elevate like that or do I really need to be worried!  Sincerely Freaked out!

both of these antibiotics can cause these abnormalities separately and the risk is probably higher if they are used together.  Do not panic --give yourself a little time between stopping the antibiotics and the next blood test.  they probably will be back to normal.
