Hepatitis B infection Regarding

Hi sir,

This is Krishna. Im working as manager in Blood diagnostic center. Recently i tested some routine tests. On these reports i came to know that i got elevated results in some of the test like Total bilirubin and direct bilirubin. But the remaining levels are in normal range. Its showing Hbs Ag infection also. But for me its been normal for me in my daily life. How it can be treated for getting negative of Hbs Ag and is there any further investigation needed.

Your elevated direct and total biliburin (the liver is unable to
to process properly the unconjugated biliburin-a heme breakdown substance- and to excrete efficiently the  conjugated biliburin - conjugated : made water soluble by the liver). This is pointing to viral hepatitis, consistent with
HBsAg test result, indicating acute or chronic Hepatitis B infection.
The incubation period is 1.5 -6 months and during this time most people do not experience many symptoms and probably do not know that they have a liver disease.
Most people, up to 90%, recover without any intervention,  their liver heals & they also become immune to Hep B. for life!
However, a consultation with your doctor is necessary
and close monitoring is highly recommended.
Hepatitis B is a contagious liver infection , something
you should also discuss with your doctor, in regards to your work, family etc.
Best wishes,
Niko
