Hello and hope you are doing well.
Anti Hbs levels above 10 IU/L are considered to be protective. So, you don't have to worry about the high levels, it just shows more antibodies to fight the infection. People with three doses usually exhibit more titers then those with two doses.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
from 3 months i am noticing green thin saliva in morning.sometimes i spit little blood in morning ,weight lost, constipation, have no cough in this 3 months but have flu in morning only
I agree with you. If you hadn't been previously infected or vaccinated then you wouldn't have shown any antibodies to hep b so your test result was out of reference range.
I don't know much about hep b but if your husband's antibodies are a lot lower than yours you might want to ask his doctor if he is still immunized against hep b. I certainly don't want to alarm you and, as I stated, I don't know much about this disease but, it's always better to be safe than sorry. Really, I doubt there is anything to worry about but I always play it safe.
Good luck,
Mike
Thank you SO much. I'm not sure why my anti-HBs result was flagged as abnormal but I guess the lab doesn't know who has been vaccinated and who hasn't. My husband's result was ten times smaller than mine, but I guess everyone's different. I really appreciate your response, thank you mikesimon!
Your positive anti-HBs are likely the result of your previous hepatitis b vaccination.
A positive anti-HBs means you are immune to hep b either because of a hep b vaccination or because you were infected with hep b and resolved the infection.
Since you have been vaccinated I think you can relax.
I am not a doctor or in the medical field in any capacity. I'm just a patient who had liver disease so take my advice with that in mind.
Here is a link that explains Hep B test results in detail.
