Liver function tests

Hi,

I've had the usual liver function tests which came back clear.

However, for the last few days I've noticed I'm feeling itchy all over - back, face, arms.  Over the few months I've noticed my urine has been cloudy and fairly unpleasant smelling.

I'm also have pins and needles in my hands and feet.  

I've been to the Dr's who told me to 'come back in a few weeks' and see if anything develops.

I was just wondering if there are any ideas on what it could be?

Liver function tests are not alway accurate.Believe me mine was just fine for 20+ years and I felt fine was only getting checkd frequently because of bloodpressure problems. Check your GGT that usually shows up high if you have a problem liver related.

The GGT is one of the liver function tests , that is not usually done  unless the Dr. thinks you may have a problem with bile ducts,example : bilrubin high -ALP high etc. which could possibly cause , itching or smelly urine etc. You can find out lots of information and forums , if you google GGT.
