I am having GI problems, treated with GBapentin and Linzess. I also take low dose Xanax.
Fairly recent HIDA scan showed an ejection fraction of 18%. Surgeon ipon the fence about removing it.
I have constant stomach and abdominal discomfort and bloating.
Was passing dark urine on occasion.  Dr ordered a liver panel
Results jyst in which I can access on line. Have not heard from my doctor  yet. Don't know what these mean.

Urine Leukocytes. 2+.  A. ( don't know what that means)
Urine Protein  Neg. Trace. A
Urine Opuribilinogen  0.1  - 1.0 EU/dl.  4.  H
WBC/HPF. 0-5.     26. H

Urine culture, 2 days, was negative

Anyone know what these mean?

Hi I am so sorry. I know how frustrating it can be to know something is wrong.
I don't know the answers but search for the various results you had.
Good luck :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to help.  I have read a lot on my own.

I have other GI issues going on so just feel sick all the time.

My dic sent me an e-mail and they did a urine culture that was negative.  No antibiotics needed. Was afraid the dark urine was from a med I take.
He is now  mentioning possible autoimmune hepatitis and a liver biopsy!!  They are leaving it up to me what to do about the gallbladder.  No guarantees I will be any better.
I just feel sick every day, insides nit working right, just miserable.
Thanks

Hi, I did not realize that I could not give you the site to show you what they said, really sorry.

The WBC/HPF is high and that can also indicate a UTI.

I will try to figure out how to show you the site :)

Hi Margot, I am just a patient like you however I tried to loo up your information.
I  found that the normal ejection fraction on HIDA is 35 to 75%
http://answers.webmd.com/answers/5003293/what-is-the-normal-gallbladder-ejection-fraction-range
I then searched and found someone with same number as you wondering what to do.  This person was told with the low number and symptoms they should have surgery.  I would do some research before having anything done.

Again, not a doctor, just someone trying to help.  I looked up the urine Leukocytes, could you be having a urinary tract infection?
I read that some times people don't have symptoms or if in pain someplace else may not feel it.
I know it is the weekend, perhaps you could drink extra water?...some cranberry juice to help with the UTI?
I hope you can get some relief :)
