Elevation in Blood Results (LIVER)

Hi Doctors,

I have done a blood test last week and my blood results shows an elevation. Please find the test results as below.

SGPT (ALT) 55
SGOT (AST)34
GGT 80
HBs Antibody 888 miu/ml

Really worried after seeing the results. Could you help me to check whether these elevations are really high and do i need to consult a doctor immediatly?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
What are the symptoms present?T he normal range  for ALT is 10 to 40 international units per liter (IU/L), while AST is 10 to 34 IU/L.  On the other hand, the normal range for GGT is 0 to 51 international units per liter (IU/L). The normal range depends on many things, including your age and gender. Also, normal value ranges may also vary slightly among different laboratories. It is best that you talk to your doctor about the meaning of your specific test results. Other factors such as your symptoms. medical history and physical evaluation are important considerations. Take care and do keep us posted.
