Please Help

My mother was told by her doctor that she has high liver enzymes and was advised to stop drinking. However she is still drinking 2 litres of white wine every evening. She is not going to stop drinking and I'm just not sure what this means for her future. What happens next? How long before she ends up dead?

A very good friend of mine is going thru chemo, for colorectal cancer.
He used to drink a bottle of red wine every evening and often other drinks during the day.
He developed B6-PLP deficiency, which is a known cause
of colorectal cancer.
Two weeks ago, when I saw him, he had not been able to eat anything for days, and his weight is 95 lb!
I don't think he'll make it.
You mom needs an intervention and hopefully, she'll agree
to go for rehab. I doubt that she'll be able to quit  on her own.
It's a matter of time before  she gets a cirrhosis diagnosis.
Sad :(
