Hello and hope you are doing well.

Normal values for SGOT is 0-35 and SGPT is 4-36. The levels are elevated in liver disorders. Besides this they are also elevated in conditions like muscle injury and sometimes due to medications. If you do not have symptoms of liver disease like jaundice, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever, I would advise you to wait for now and repeat the test after four weeks to see how the levels are progressing. Also, the turbid urine could be due to an urinary tract infection. Please check with your doctor to rule out this condition.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

The liver enzymes (ALT  & AST)  are markers for the indication of liver injury (inflammation )  Yours are midly elevated .however this may e caused by a variety of diffeernt things and are not specific for HCV.

Elevated liver markers should be viewed by a doctor as if there is something possiblyy going on and further tests should be conducted...one of those being tested for all the hepatitis strains.

Best to you...

Will
