Scared about elvated Liver Enzymes

I was recently tested for all std's and it came back negative, but my Liver enzymes came back little high Alt 76 Ast 42. Though told me that i was not immune to hep b even though I had the vaccine as a child. Im currently 19 years old to this day. They said there was no antibodies found on the results for anything at 6 weeks of possible exposure. The test they ran was IgM and Igg for everything. Im curious though on what could cause my liver enzymes to raise if i tested negative.

Signs:
Dull pain lower abs
I seem to have a Digestive Problem always rumbles.
On my left side under ribs and towards middle I seem to have pain.
When I poop it seems to be a whitish yellow color?

Extra information:
Gf took a std test the only i have slept with and tested negative for everything. She is also immune to Hep B. Neither one of us has never done drugs in are life.
Had another blood test done for liver enzymes and it came back more elevated ALT 176 AND AST 48.

Questions:
How accurate are my test?
Is it possible that I have Hep A,B,C even if we both tested negative? Also, if she is immune to Hep B is there any kind of chance to exposure to me?
Do you think I have Hep with the information I have?

So I went to the doctor and they did a ultra sound and blood work which all came back to normal except for the alt and sat which both drop from alt 176 to 90 and sat 70 to 40. They did a hepatic panel which I guess checked the liver functions and was normal. I'm just making sure though if I were to have any kind of hep would all this stuff be abnormal? He said almost 99% of the people that have hep their alt and ast is much much much higher then that like the 1000's. So just one more opinion from anybody on here would you say that I could have hep?

You doctor ran test for everything and test were fine.  So because your doctor can't find anything wrong with you.... your being referred to a specialist to find out why your liver functions are high.  Your appointment is next week.
Your only 19 years old and very concerned that something might be wrong with you.

There is no way anyone on this forum can tell you what is wrong with you.  So it would be to your benefit to stop driving yourself crazy and go to the appointment next week.  It could be just about anything including something like your gallbladder is acting up.  Don't try to figure this out yourself.  Let the specialist help you.  That's what there for.  Take a deep breath and try not to focus on what COULD be wrong.   Do write all your symptoms down so you can tell the doctor everything and don't leave anything out.

Good Luck at your appointment

I have a appt aug 8 with a gi. I just worried a lot and I didn't know if there was any risk for hep c or b. I know hep c is normally through IV use and since I don't use drugs ever I didn't know how common it is through sex. Do you think 6 weeks is pretty accurate as it is anyway? Also, I know this is a hep C board but if she is immune to hep b can I even get it from her?

And to make sure for peace of mind on me you think there is no risk for me to hep c?

No, there is no risk at all there. But it is a good idea to try to find out why your enzymes are elevated~

I have never done drugs in my life and had in protected sex once with my girlfriend which tested negative for all hep. Do you think I would still have it if that was the case? Would I be at high risk I mean I know she is clean and since I don't do drugs they say its very rare to even get hep c from sex anyway? I was worried about hep b but didn't know since she is immune due to vaccine if I could have got it from her.

Okay, I'm not sure I have yr story straight:  you say "at 6 weeks of possible exposure" but then go on to say you havent ever done drugs...so what was the exposure?
Alcohol could make your Alt higher than your Ast, and so could too much Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and manyother toxic to the liver chemicals. I think there are many reasons to have elevated liver enzymes, even an injury, which causes trauma.
But Hep C does tend to present with Alt higher then Ast, so you could wait and get retested in 6 months~
