Itchy ( Pruritus ) related to liver with normal bloods?

52 year old male here. I usually get itchy every winter as its very dry in this house. Lately I have been itching like crazy. I went to my doctor 2 weeks ago for my physical. He drew bloods. I expressed my concern that this may be an early sign of liver disease. He is aware of my neurosis regarding liver disease. He ran a LFT and CBC and a few others. I am slo on a statin and testosterone cyponate. He called me with the results and said all my liver tests were well within normal range. He said therefor it is highly unlikely my itch is from any liver disorder. Bilirubin was normal as well as the others. Any opinions?
