Vitamin D form for liver fibrosis

This article says that calcipotriol cures liver fibrosis in mice:
http://www.salk.edu/news/pressrelease_details.php?press_id=612

Please let me know if only this form of vitamin D is effective, or any will do.

Thank you very much.

Dee1956,

the article I mentioned says that calcipotriol stops fibrotic response of liver no matter if it was caused by a virus or chemical.

My liver is damaged by chemical.

Hi I have looked this up, been unable to find about this but here is what I found so far other than its use as a skin cream and that it is a derivative of Vitamin D.  I will keep looking

Hi sorry I have not been much help I was trying to show that Vitamin D has
been shown to help people with liver problems.  In fact I have read that people with liver disorders are often  deficient in vitamin D

I did find something from NIH, I hope this will help
