What are signs of Liver Diesease...

Thanks very much Bob. I have a question to ask Bob here, Redbud72, if you don't mind :)

Does certain, maybe new medications ever make the itching come on? I guess what I am asking is that if you do have some liver failure, can you be at a stage where some medications "only" bring on the itching? (and when you stop the med, the itching goes away)

I realize that people without liver disease have reactions such as itching as a side affect to medicines, but I am speaking directly in regard to liver disease.

Also do people with ascites from liver disease take diuretics?

Fatigue, malaise, hepatic encephalopathy, ascites, uncontrollable itching are among them.
