cirrosis

i have inflamation of the liver, believe it could be alcoholic related after a night out i became very ill 2 weeks later
it's been a few months been going drs and back, was finally given an ultra sound they seen inflamation and fatty liver,
just wanted to ask what can i do to reduce the inflamation? how long does it take to advance to cirrosis?
what treatment is required for my condition? i have pains in the liver area, also have pains/burns in my stomach on the right side which ease down after drinking milk and anti-acids, i'm weak and still ill, it's taken forever to get help, finally i will be refered to a liver specialist which maybe a few weeks wait again.

i really don't think you have hepatic encephaloathy, from everything you describe.  As long as you remain abstinent from drinking i think that you should be OK. the fatty liver may be totally reversible with abstinence. It generally takes many years of drinking before the liver disease would advance to cirrhosis.

sorry i forgot to add, i have had some issues with my eyes, maybe dry eyes, not sure, i am worried i may have hepatic encephalopathy at grade 0 maybe, can anyone shed some light on this, all i really know is, im weaker, still have pains on the right side of my stomach (liver area) feel drowsy and find it hard to concentrate as much, did have yellow stools for a while.

It did start 2 weeks after i went out drinking with mates, i have discovered in these few months of the high ALT (lft 90s 60s 80s)results i have had through out these years, last years ultrasound shown my liver to have been fine, recent ultrasound shows fatty liver and inflammed.

is there anyways i can confirm i am suffering with grade 0 hepatic encephalopathy (acute) or does grade 0 not come in acute forms?
i know thats alot of questions, i'd love to have some answers as i'm very stressed about all this.

thank you

Tony
